We have just left Paris for phase two of our journey – everyone is excited and looking forward to arriving into Bullecourt for the first formal rehearsal of the tour.
We are heading for the Australian Digger Memorial to rehearse for the Anzac Day afternoon service at Bullecourt. Whilst the choir is looking forward to the day there is a feeling of anticipation – not sure what to expect – the choir is keen to see the places where they will perform on this historical day.
After the Bullecourt rehearsal, the choir is off to Thuiller Farm where they will recreate a famous World War One picture taken of the Australian diggers that the Thuiller family welcomed to their farm 100 years ago.
We are then off to Maison des Australiens and then Vignacourt for the choir’s first concert at the Saint Firmin Church. We are very excited to meet the local community.

Great blogging guys! It’s like we’re there with you (only we’re not… we’re actually here in Brisbane, slaving away…., and more than a bit jealous…)
